Nine Wholesome Meals In The BJC For Under 10 Dollars

There’s no such thing as breakfast, lunch, and dinner during THON. Eat whatever you want, whenever you can. Here are 10 meals you can find around the BJC for under $10. For a complete list of where you can find food, check out our comprehensive guide to everything in the BJC.

1. Lifestyle sandwich with peanut butter and celery.

Total: $5+$4=$9

Available at: Quick Grab Mobile

Full disclosure: We’re not exactly sure what a “lifestyle sandwich” entails, so let us know in the comments if you try one.

2. Bagel with cream cheese and a fresh fruit cup.

Total: $3+$5=$8

Available at: Quick Grab Mobile

Breakfast time is all the time. Make sure to actually eat the side of fruit to get all your antioxidants, vitamins, and such.

3. Traditional Pretzel

Total: $5.

Available at: Pretzel Revolution.

Now before you go and comment “a pretzel isn’t a meal!”…Trust us, you can’t go wrong. The warm pretzels have quickly become a favorite on press row.

4. Grilled cheese and tomato soup bowl

Total: $3+$3=$6

Another press row pro tip? The more grilled cheese, the better. One of our staffers is on our third! They’re a definite game-changer to the meal selections.

5. Lil’ hoagie with mac and cheese

Total: $6+$3

Available at: Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Grab your choice of hoagie, available with smoked turkey, pulled pork, beef brisket, or breakfast sausage with some mac and cheese for some kick-butt comfort food.

6. Chicken caesar salad

Total: $8

Available at: Toss it Up!

If you’re in the mood for something on the lighter side, a salad will definitely do the trick.

7. Philly cheesesteak

Total: $8

Available at: Grill-a-THON

And if eating something on the lighter side isn’t your style, head on over to the other end of the spectrum with this greasy option.

8. Side salad with curly fries

Total: $4+$4

Available at: Toss it Up! and Grill-a-THON (hint: they’re right next to each other.)

If you’re craving something salty, but don’t want to hate yourself after you eat it, get a salad on the side!

9.  Ice cream

Total: $6

Available at: The Creamery stand.

You’ve been on your feet for the majority of the weekend. You deserve it.
